My love of photography began in high school. Afterwards, I attended the New England School of Photography in Boston and then as life will have it, I went in another direction. I have since earned a PhD and work as a cancer researcher at UVA.
I realized that I still have a passion for photography and officially opened my studio in 2012. All through my journey I have continued to photograph the beauty of life, whether in the expression of a child, a beautiful sunrise over the ocean, or the intricate details of a rose. I love photography because it allows me to capture the splendor of life around me. There are infinite views of life and photography allows me to reveal my views and share them with others. My focus is the beauty of life wherever I may find it.
I am an award winning internationally exhibited photographer based in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I hope my photographs allow people to take a moment to see the beauty of life from a different perspective and they uplift them, gives them peace, calm, and serenity.
