The Sun Rises 2

10/4/2013

Welcome to the second sun rises project!
I had such a wonderful time with my first sun rises project, that I decided to give it another go.

I witness the most spectacular sunrises every morning on my way to work, the same mountain range yet every morning is a unique site.
Stay tuned for another 22 days of sunrises that God creates for us.

Day 1

A spectacular sun rise, just the perfect one to kick start this project!

Day 2
A very serene morning, the clouds floated softly below the mountain range.

Day 3
The colors moved through the beautiful clear sky as the sun started to peak over the mountains.

Day 4
A peaceful morning as the light reflected softly off a cloud in the sky.

Day 5

Rainy Days are Beautiful Too!

Rainy days make for cool blue clouds. I love how the blue ridge contrasts with the sky.

Day 6

Today was the first day all week that I could see more than 2 feet in from of me. After such a rainy and foggy week,  this was a refreshing morning indeed! Wispy low hanging clouds danced through the valley as the sun rose behind the mountains!

Day 7

Only a thin line between the mountains and the cloud cover. A bright red reflection appeared in the
 clouds only briefly.

Picture
Day 8
A very vibrant morning. As the sun was starting to rise, it made for a spectacular light show in the clouds. There were dynamic areas as well as soft misty areas of color!

Day 9

A very peaceful sunrise this morning.

Day 10

A very clear sky this morning. Just a small cluster of clouds in the distance.

Day 13

A clear morning, not a cloud in site!

Day 14
A spectacular morning on the top of the mountain! Such vibrant colors.

Day 15
This may be my favorite sunrise yet! I almost missed it as I caught a ride over the mountain this morning. Luckily my lovely sister pulled over for me when I told her I have never seen anything so beautiful!!! There were purple clouds high in the sky, soft pick clouds down in the valley and the sun danced between them. It was a magical site as if we were staring right at heaven.

Day 16

A fantastic morning to watch the sun rise.

Day 17

The clouds looked like dolphins swimming through the sky!

Day 18

The lone stratus cloud was a chameleon of colors.

Day 19
The sun shown through a break in the clouds creating a wonderful light show!

Day 20

The Reverse Sunrise

What started as a stunning red glow coming through the small space between the mountains and the clouds, turned into what I describe as a reverse sunrise.

As the sun moved through this "between heaven and earth" space, it began to light up the tops of the mountains rather than the clouds in the sky.

Once the sun reached its destination behind the clouds, the mountains were glowing as if the sun was rising in the opposite direction.

A beautiful site!

Day 21

Awesome clouds this morning!

Rising behind the cloud line made for  spectacular glowing clouds!

Day 22~
Another 22 sunrises!  Another 22 Beautiful Views.

Thank you for taking a moment to read this post!

It is amazing to me how each one is so unique. I watched the sun rise over the same mountain range for another 22 days and each of them still had their own personality, characteristics, and beauty.

It reminds me of us, as soul, we are all unique and beautiful in our own ways.  We each have our own view. Before judging someone else's view, take a moment to see from their perspective, you may just see the beauty in it.

Be yourself! Be the best YOU!

As a wise one once said:
"Everyone else is already taken anyways!"
